for slow reading

Most websites are a public shop-window designed to grab the restless attention and deliver their specific message, commercial or otherwise, in seconds. I have seen it differently. This site reflects a diversity of interests and is designed for perusal at a slower pace.

diversity

This website brings together diverse objectives, almost all of which are out of date. It was once a professional showcase with examples of work done over the years. Then, before the age of blogging, it was a personal artistic expression, endeavouring to embody various aesthetic and ethical values.

It also celebrated the beauty of local wayside scenes. Almost everywhere on earth must surely have its own special charm, and even if our artistic talents are not developed, we can certainly learn to look at our surroundings.

Morning light adds magic to the banal and utilitarian. Roof of Marks and Spencers, High Wycombe.
